The BLACK BULL FLEX+ L-Line Impact Protection Railing provides robust, highly visible separation between vehicle routes, work areas, machinery, racking and building structures. Designed for protection at vehicle height, the flexible polypropylene system absorbs impact energy through controlled elastic deformation and distributes forces across the entire protective line. It then returns towards its original shape, helping retain its protective function after contact. Certified in accordance with PAS 13:2017 and tested to approximately 7,000 joules, the modular bolt-down system is available as a Starter Set, Centre Extension Set or Corner Extension Set.

BLACK BULL FLEX+ L-Line Impact Protection Railing
The BLACK BULL FLEX+ L-Line Impact Protection Railing provides strong, clearly visible separation between internal traffic routes, work areas, machinery, pallet racking and building structures.
Designed for protection at vehicle height, the L-Line is ideal for warehouse, logistics and production environments where a substantial physical barrier is required but there is no significant low-level underrun hazard.
Unlike a rigid steel guardrail, the FLEX+ system absorbs impact energy through controlled elastic deformation. It distributes the resulting forces across the entire protective line before returning towards its original shape.
Vehicle-Height Impact Protection
The L-Line creates a continuous protective boundary along vehicle routes, racking aisles, workstations, machine areas and transfer zones.
Its substantial crossbars are positioned to provide protection at vehicle height, helping prevent workplace vehicles from striking machinery, racking, building structures or occupied work areas.
Where protection is also required against forklift forks and other low-level hazards, a railing with an integrated underrun guard may be more suitable.
PAS 13 Certified Performance
The BLACK BULL FLEX+ L-Line is certified in accordance with PAS 13:2017 and tested to an impact load of approximately 7,000 joules.
The system is designed to absorb and distribute dynamic forces rather than transferring the full load into a single post, floor fixing or section of the protected structure.
Flexible Crossbars and Supporting Posts
The polypropylene crossbars form a continuous and highly visible protective line. During an impact, they flex to cushion the force, absorb energy and help reduce damage to vehicles and nearby infrastructure.
The supporting posts receive the transmitted forces and maintain stability throughout the barrier run. This wide-area force distribution helps reduce localised loading and supports reliable protection across the entire installation.
FlexLink Connection Technology
FlexLink connection technology distributes impact forces evenly between adjoining crossbars, posts and barrier sections.
This helps relieve pressure on individual anchor points and the surrounding floor. It can also reduce the likelihood of loose posts, damaged fixings and localised substrate failure following repeated impacts.
Impact-Resistant FLEX+ Bases
Each FLEX+ Base connects the railing post to the ground anchor and incorporates an impact-resistant outer shell.
The base protects the internal screw connection from direct contact and workplace damage. Its shaped design also helps reduce the risk of damaging the tyres and wheels of forklift trucks, pallet trucks and other industrial vehicles.
Force-Absorbing Ground Anchors
The FLEX+ ground anchor combines secure concrete anchoring with integrated force-absorbing rubber dampers.
These dampers help reduce the load transferred to the screw connection and floor substrate during an impact. This supports a stable bolt-down installation while allowing the system to accommodate repeated contact more effectively.
Designed for Repeated Impacts
The highly elastic polypropylene construction is designed to remain functional following repeated knocks and minor collisions.
Rather than remaining permanently deformed after contact, the FLEX+ system returns towards its original shape. This can help reduce component replacement, repair costs and operational disruption.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the products ordered and delivery location.
Most standard Mainland UK orders over £120 excluding VAT qualify for free delivery. Some exclusions apply, including certain oversized, heavy, made-to-order, or specialist delivery items.
Additional delivery charges may apply to some regions, including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
1-2 Day delivery is available on stock items only and, where available, charges for 1-2 Day delivery are calculated at checkout. Orders for 1-2 delivery need to be placed by 1:00pm unless otherwise stated.
Delivery dates are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control.
The company reserves the right to deliver goods in instalments, each installment being treated as a separate contract.
Goods will be delivered at the point most convenient to our carrier, usually the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor. Further transfer or installation within the purchaser’s premises, particularly for large or heavy items, must be arranged prior to delivery and will be charged extra.
Goods are delivered by courier and may require a signature upon delivery. If the courier is unable to complete delivery, a card may be left and the goods returned to the local depot. Redelivery will usually be attempted on the next working day or arrangements can be made to collect the goods from the delivery depot. It is your responsibility to advise of any special delivery requirements at the time of order.
From time to time our shipping providers make an additional charge for delivery to some areas, for example Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in these cases we reserve the right to pass that additional cost on to our customer. We will make contact with you to obtain further payment to cover additional shipping costs, if you do not wish to make the additional payment a full refund will be offered and your order will be cancelled.
RETURN OF GOODS
In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any product, please contact us without delay.
Faulty Goods or Incorrect Item Received
Should the goods you receive be faulty or if we have delivered the wrong product you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt (or the next working day), we guarantee to accept return of such goods without charge.
Once we have received the goods at our premises a replacement will be dispatched to you.
Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us, in writing, within 7 working days of receipt.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
The goods must be returned in a completely resalable condition, in the original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories as supplied. For furniture items that are supplied in flat pack form, we may not be able to accept return if the item has been assembled.
It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods. Goods will be inspected before a refund is made. If the goods suffer damage or neglect whilst in your care a claim may be made.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended application prior to ordering.
We cannot accept returns of goods that have been made to your particular specifications or manufactured to order as indicated by the delivery status icons. If you are unsure please call 01302 300200.
For business customers returns may be subject to a handling/restocking charge not exceeding 30% of the net price of the goods.
