The BLACK BULL FLEX+ Floor Barrier provides flexible, low-level impact protection for racking, machinery, building structures and pedestrian areas. Its durable polypropylene crossbar helps prevent underride and collision damage caused by forklift forks, pallet trucks and other light industrial vehicles. Certified in accordance with PAS 13:2017 and tested to approximately 6,200 joules, the modular bolt-down system is available as a Starter Set, Centre Extension Set or Corner Extension Set.

BLACK BULL FLEX+ Flexible Floor Barrier
The BLACK BULL FLEX+ Floor Barrier provides reliable low-level protection for people, machinery, pallet racking and building structures in busy industrial environments.
Positioned close to floor level, the barrier helps prevent underride and collision damage caused by forklift forks, pallet trucks and other workplace vehicles. It is particularly suitable for warehouse traffic routes, racking aisles, machine fronts, conveyor systems and loading or transfer zones.
Unlike rigid steel barriers, the FLEX+ system absorbs impact energy through controlled elastic deformation. The barrier cushions the impact, transfers the forces through the system and then returns towards its original shape.
Low-Level Protection Against Fork and Vehicle Impacts
The polypropylene crossbar forms the main protective element at floor level. It creates a clear physical boundary and helps prevent vehicle forks or low-level components from passing beneath or striking vulnerable infrastructure.
During an impact, the flexible crossbar deforms to absorb energy. This helps reduce damage to forklift forks, pallet trucks, vehicles, flooring and the protected structure.
Certified Dynamic Load Absorption
The BLACK BULL FLEX+ Floor Barrier is certified in accordance with PAS 13:2017 and has been tested to an impact load of approximately 6,200 joules.
Its flexible construction helps distribute impact forces throughout the protection system rather than transferring them directly into the floor fixings or neighbouring equipment.
Impact-Resistant FLEX+ Base
The FLEX+ Base connects the floor barrier crossbar to the ground anchor. Its impact-resistant outer shell protects the internal screw connection from direct contact and everyday operational damage.
The shaped base also helps protect the tyres and wheels of forklift trucks and pallet trucks. At the same time, it supports controlled force distribution throughout the barrier system.
Force-Absorbing Ground Anchors
The FLEX+ ground anchor combines secure concrete anchoring with force-absorbing rubber dampers. These dampers reduce the load transferred to the fixing connection and surrounding floor substrate during an impact.
This design provides a stable bolt-down installation while allowing the barrier to manage repeated impact forces more effectively.
Designed for Repeated Impacts
The highly elastic polypropylene construction is designed to remain functional following repeated bumps and minor collisions. Once the impact force has been removed, the barrier returns towards its original form without the permanent deformation commonly associated with rigid steel protection.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the products ordered and delivery location.
Most standard Mainland UK orders over £120 excluding VAT qualify for free delivery. Some exclusions apply, including certain oversized, heavy, made-to-order, or specialist delivery items.
Additional delivery charges may apply to some regions, including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
1-2 Day delivery is available on stock items only and, where available, charges for 1-2 Day delivery are calculated at checkout. Orders for 1-2 delivery need to be placed by 1:00pm unless otherwise stated.
Delivery dates are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control.
The company reserves the right to deliver goods in instalments, each installment being treated as a separate contract.
Goods will be delivered at the point most convenient to our carrier, usually the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor. Further transfer or installation within the purchaser’s premises, particularly for large or heavy items, must be arranged prior to delivery and will be charged extra.
Goods are delivered by courier and may require a signature upon delivery. If the courier is unable to complete delivery, a card may be left and the goods returned to the local depot. Redelivery will usually be attempted on the next working day or arrangements can be made to collect the goods from the delivery depot. It is your responsibility to advise of any special delivery requirements at the time of order.
From time to time our shipping providers make an additional charge for delivery to some areas, for example Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in these cases we reserve the right to pass that additional cost on to our customer. We will make contact with you to obtain further payment to cover additional shipping costs, if you do not wish to make the additional payment a full refund will be offered and your order will be cancelled.
RETURN OF GOODS
In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any product, please contact us without delay.
Faulty Goods or Incorrect Item Received
Should the goods you receive be faulty or if we have delivered the wrong product you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt (or the next working day), we guarantee to accept return of such goods without charge.
Once we have received the goods at our premises a replacement will be dispatched to you.
Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us, in writing, within 7 working days of receipt.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
The goods must be returned in a completely resalable condition, in the original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories as supplied. For furniture items that are supplied in flat pack form, we may not be able to accept return if the item has been assembled.
It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods. Goods will be inspected before a refund is made. If the goods suffer damage or neglect whilst in your care a claim may be made.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended application prior to ordering.
We cannot accept returns of goods that have been made to your particular specifications or manufactured to order as indicated by the delivery status icons. If you are unsure please call 01302 300200.
For business customers returns may be subject to a handling/restocking charge not exceeding 30% of the net price of the goods.
