COBATrack Temporary Ground Protection Tiles & Edges (CT0)

COBATrack Temporary Ground Protection Tiles & Edges
COBATrack is a reusable temporary ground protection system designed to create pedestrian walkways, access routes and temporary flooring over grass, soil and other outdoor surfaces.
The compact polypropylene tiles interlock to form a stable surface without specialist installation equipment, making COBATrack ideal for construction sites, outdoor events, landscaping projects, school grounds and temporary access areas.
Each tile features a slip-resistant raised surface to improve grip, while optional Male and Female ramped edges provide a smoother transition between the 12mm high flooring and the surrounding surface.
Temporary Access with Ground Protection
Heavy foot traffic and temporary site activity can quickly damage grass, soil and other sensitive ground surfaces. COBATrack creates a protective layer between traffic and the ground below, helping reduce damage and subsequent reinstatement requirements.
The interlocking system can be used to create clearly defined temporary pedestrian routes, working areas and access surfaces while protecting the underlying ground.
Suitable for Grass, Soil and Uneven Ground
COBATrack is designed for outdoor use and can be installed over grass, soil and suitable uneven terrain.
This makes it particularly useful where conventional temporary flooring would be difficult to install or where directly walking over the existing surface could cause excessive wear, mud or ground damage.
Supports Loads Up to 2 Tonnes
The durable polypropylene construction can support loads of up to 2 tonnes, depending on the condition and stability of the ground beneath the installation.
This provides a versatile temporary flooring solution for pedestrian traffic and appropriate light vehicle applications.
Please note: Load performance depends on ground conditions and the intended application. The suitability of the supporting surface should always be assessed before use.
Slip-Resistant Raised Surface
The upper surface features a raised slip-resistant pattern designed to provide improved grip for pedestrians and suitable light vehicle traffic.
This helps create a more dependable temporary walking surface in outdoor environments where grass, soil or changing weather conditions could otherwise affect footing.
Quick Interlocking Installation
The tiles use a loose-lay interlocking system and do not require specialist tools for standard installation.
Individual sections connect together to create the required temporary floor area, allowing routes and work zones to be constructed, extended or reconfigured according to site requirements.
Once the temporary requirement has ended, the tiles can be disconnected, removed and stored for future use.
Reusable Temporary Flooring
COBATrack is designed for repeated temporary installations. The modular polypropylene tiles can be reused across different projects and locations, helping reduce the cost associated with disposable temporary surfaces and repairing damaged ground.
Individual components can also be replaced without replacing the entire installation.
Optional Ramped Safety Edges
Optional black ramped edges are available to provide a smoother transition between the surrounding surface and the 12mm high COBATrack flooring.
Male and Female Edge packs are available to match the corresponding interlocking profiles around exposed sides of the tile installation.
Adding edging can create a neater finished perimeter and makes access onto and off the temporary flooring more gradual.

Male and Female Edging Explained
The COBATrack tiles use interlocking connections, so different exposed sides require the corresponding Male or Female Edge.

- Female Edge: Fits the corresponding Male connection on an exposed tile edge.
The number and type of edges required will depend on the dimensions, shape and orientation of the finished temporary flooring area.

Fast Temporary Access for Outdoor Sites
The compact tile format makes COBATrack easy to handle and install where a temporary route or protected work area needs to be created quickly.
The flooring can follow the size and shape of the required area, making it suitable for everything from narrow pedestrian routes to larger temporary surfaces.
Protect Grass and Reduce Reinstatement Costs
Creating a defined temporary surface can help prevent repeated pedestrian and suitable light vehicle traffic from directly damaging grass or soft ground.
Once the project or event is complete, the COBATrack system can be removed and reused, helping reduce ground repair and reinstatement requirements.
Complete the System with Ramped Edging
Where COBATrack has exposed perimeter edges, optional Male and Female ramps provide a more gradual transition onto the temporary flooring.
Select the tile pack and required Male or Female Edge packs from the available product options to build a temporary ground protection system suited to your site.
