COBATrack HD Temporary Roadways
COBATrack HD provides a high-capacity temporary roadway system for heavy plant, machinery and vehicle access across demanding construction and infrastructure environments.
Manufactured from recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), each mat combines a substantial 15mm structural thickness with dual heavy traction surfaces for dependable grip in all-weather conditions.
Depending on the supporting ground conditions, COBATrack HD can accommodate loads from 50 to 120 tonnes, making it ideal for temporary roadways where significantly greater load distribution is required than with standard ground protection matting.
Temporary Roadways for Heavy Plant and Machinery
COBATrack HD is designed for demanding projects where heavy machinery and plant require reliable temporary roadways over vulnerable or unprepared ground.
The modular mats can be connected to create temporary vehicle routes across construction sites, infrastructure projects, utilities works and other locations where permanent hardstanding would be impractical or unnecessary.
By creating a defined temporary roadway over the underlying ground, the system helps distribute vehicle loads and protect the supporting terrain from direct traffic.

COBATrack HD is designed to support loads from 50 to 120 tonnes, depending on the condition and stability of the ground beneath the installation.

Please note: Load capacity is dependent on ground conditions. The supporting surface and intended loading should always be assessed before installation and use.
15mm Recycled HDPE Construction
Each COBATrack HD Mat is manufactured from recycled high-density polyethylene and measures 2400 x 1200mm.
The 15mm thick structural design provides the durability required for heavy plant and demanding temporary access applications while retaining the weather resistance and reusable characteristics of HDPE.
Each mat weighs 44kg and can be lifted, repositioned and reused across different projects.
Dual Heavy Traction Surfaces
COBATrack HD features heavy traction surfaces designed to provide reliable grip in demanding outdoor conditions.
The traction design makes the mats particularly suitable for temporary roadways exposed to changing weather, construction traffic and challenging site conditions.
Temporary Roadways for All-Weather Conditions

Reusable Modular Roadway System
COBATrack HD is designed as a reusable temporary roadway rather than a permanent ground installation.
The mats can be loose laid and connected to adjoining sections to create a roadway or access area suited to the required site layout. Once the project is complete, the mats can be disconnected, removed and stored for future use.
This modular approach also allows temporary roadways to be extended or reconfigured as access requirements change.
Choice of PU or Steel Connectors
COBATrack HD Mats are compatible with reusable PU and steel connectors, allowing multiple mats to be joined together to create a secure temporary roadway system.
Both connector materials are available in Single and Double configurations to suit different layouts.
PU Connectors
PU connectors provide a secure and reusable connection between adjoining COBATrack Mats. They are supplied with plates and bolts and can be fitted while the mats are laid side by side.
A suitable socket or spanner is required for fitting and removing PU connectors.
Steel Connectors
Steel connectors provide a robust, reusable and cost-effective method of joining COBATrack Mats.
The bolt-free design allows the connectors to be inserted into the designated connection points in the mats, providing a quick installation method where temporary roadways need to be regularly deployed and removed.
Single and Double Connectors

- Double Connectors: Provide two connection positions within one component for suitable mat layouts and junctions.

Installation and Connection
COBATrack HD Mats are loose laid over the required supporting surface and joined using compatible PU or steel connectors.
Steel connectors are positioned within the designated connection points between adjoining mats. PU connectors are secured while the mats are laid side by side using their supplied fastening components.
The process can then be repeated in the required direction until the temporary roadway or access area is complete.
Once the temporary requirement has ended, the installation can be dismantled in reverse and the mats and connectors stored for reuse.
Please note: Installation should be carried out by at least two people.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the products ordered and delivery location.
Most standard Mainland UK orders over £120 excluding VAT qualify for free delivery. Some exclusions apply, including certain oversized, heavy, made-to-order, or specialist delivery items.
Additional delivery charges may apply to some regions, including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
1-2 Day delivery is available on stock items only and, where available, charges for 1-2 Day delivery are calculated at checkout. Orders for 1-2 delivery need to be placed by 1:00pm unless otherwise stated.
Delivery dates are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control.
The company reserves the right to deliver goods in instalments, each installment being treated as a separate contract.
Goods will be delivered at the point most convenient to our carrier, usually the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor. Further transfer or installation within the purchaser’s premises, particularly for large or heavy items, must be arranged prior to delivery and will be charged extra.
Goods are delivered by courier and may require a signature upon delivery. If the courier is unable to complete delivery, a card may be left and the goods returned to the local depot. Redelivery will usually be attempted on the next working day or arrangements can be made to collect the goods from the delivery depot. It is your responsibility to advise of any special delivery requirements at the time of order.
From time to time our shipping providers make an additional charge for delivery to some areas, for example Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in these cases we reserve the right to pass that additional cost on to our customer. We will make contact with you to obtain further payment to cover additional shipping costs, if you do not wish to make the additional payment a full refund will be offered and your order will be cancelled.
RETURN OF GOODS
In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any product, please contact us without delay.
Faulty Goods or Incorrect Item Received
Should the goods you receive be faulty or if we have delivered the wrong product you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt (or the next working day), we guarantee to accept return of such goods without charge.
Once we have received the goods at our premises a replacement will be dispatched to you.
Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us, in writing, within 7 working days of receipt.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
The goods must be returned in a completely resalable condition, in the original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories as supplied. For furniture items that are supplied in flat pack form, we may not be able to accept return if the item has been assembled.
It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods. Goods will be inspected before a refund is made. If the goods suffer damage or neglect whilst in your care a claim may be made.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended application prior to ordering.
We cannot accept returns of goods that have been made to your particular specifications or manufactured to order as indicated by the delivery status icons. If you are unsure please call 01302 300200.
For business customers returns may be subject to a handling/restocking charge not exceeding 30% of the net price of the goods.
