The COBAstatยฎ ESD Mat is a comfortable and durable anti-static floor mat designed to protect operatives from static build-up in dry indoor environments. As the ESD version of the popular Orthomatยฎ anti-fatigue range, the COBAstatยฎ ESD Mat combines underfoot comfort with reliable static control performance.
Manufactured from closed cell PVC foam, the mat features a pebble surface finish and a product height of 9 mm, providing cushioning while maintaining stability. It is grounded via a 10 mm male stud fitted to the mat, delivering maximum performance when used with a grounding wire. The mat is also available as a convenient COBAstatยฎ Floor Kit with accessories provided.
The COBAstatยฎ ESD Mat is tested to EN14041 resistance requirements, with an electrical resistance value of Rv: 1.1 x 10โท ฮฉ, making it suitable for environments where static control is essential. It is designed for use around machinery where static build-up is common.
PVC offers broad chemical resistance. It is resistant to many different chemicals, alkalis and general industrial chemicals, including alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons, oils, weak acids, strong mineral acids and alkalis. PVC resists oil and grease if properly cleaned. However, it does not resist organic solvents, ketones, esters and aromatic hydrocarbons.
Suitable for dry indoor environments, the COBAstatยฎ ESD Mat operates within a temperature range of 0ยฐC to +60ยฐC. Installation is via a loose lay method, allowing the mat to be positioned easily where required. Cleaning can be carried out by brushing or mopping the top surface.
Available in grey, the COBAstatยฎ ESD Mat is supplied in the following sizes:
- 0.6 m x 0.9 m (Weight: 2 kg)
- 0.9 m x 1.5 m (Weight: 4.5 kg)
- 0.9 m x 18.3 m (Weight: 40 kg)
- 0.9 m x per linear metre (max. 18.3 m) (Weight: 2 kg)

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the products ordered and delivery location.
Most standard Mainland UK orders over ยฃ120 excluding VAT qualify for free delivery. Some exclusions apply, including certain oversized, heavy, made-to-order, or specialist delivery items.
Additional delivery charges may apply to some regions, including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
1-2 Day delivery is available on stock items only and, where available, charges for 1-2 Day delivery are calculated at checkout. Orders for 1-2 delivery need to be placed by 1:00pm unless otherwise stated.
Delivery dates are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control.
The company reserves the right to deliver goods in instalments, each installment being treated as a separate contract.
Goods will be delivered at the point most convenient to our carrier, usually the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor. Further transfer or installation within the purchaserโs premises, particularly for large or heavy items, must be arranged prior to delivery and will be charged extra.
Goods are delivered by courier and may require a signature upon delivery. If the courier is unable to complete delivery, a card may be left and the goods returned to the local depot. Redelivery will usually be attempted on the next working day or arrangements can be made to collect the goods from the delivery depot. It is your responsibility to advise of any special delivery requirements at the time of order.
From time to time our shipping providers make an additional charge for delivery to some areas, for example Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in these cases we reserve the right to pass that additional cost on to our customer.ย We will make contact with you to obtain further payment to cover additional shipping costs, if you do not wish to make the additional payment a full refund will be offered and your order will be cancelled.
RETURN OF GOODS
In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any product, please contact us without delay.
Faulty Goods or Incorrect Item Received
Should the goods you receive be faulty or if we have delivered the wrong product you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt (or the next working day), we guarantee to accept return of such goods without charge.
Once we have received the goods at our premises a replacement will be dispatched to you.
Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us, in writing, within 7 working days of receipt.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
The goods must be returned in a completely resalable condition, in the original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories as supplied.ย For furniture items that are supplied in flat pack form, we may not be able to accept return if the item has been assembled.
It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods.ย Goods will be inspected before a refund is made.ย If the goods suffer damage or neglect whilst in your care a claim may be made.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended application prior to ordering.
We cannot accept returns of goods that have been made to your particular specifications or manufactured to order as indicated by the delivery status icons. If you are unsure please call 01302 300200.ย
For business customers returns may be subject to a handling/restocking charge not exceeding 30% of the net price of the goods.
