Modular Mobiles
Simple and quick solution for small installations.
Utilising a modular starter and extension design based on Stormor shelving, ProGlide mobiles offer an easy to specify light duty mobile solution. Available in 2 heights, simply choose from a range of pre-set footprints to match your available space.
The modular design allows for easy access when installing, even in a lift.
The floor is laid directly onto the existing floor surface and requires no fixing down, minimising disruption in the workplace and allowing for re-location at a later date.
ProGlide is available with a choice of manually assisted or electric operating systems.
Bespoke Mobile Shelving Systems
For large operations, multi-operative use or heavy duty storage our range of bespoke mobile solutions answer your requirements. Designed to maximise the storage cube, mobiles can be used with any of our shelving ranges, ensuring you get the right system for the goods stored.There is a choice of operator systems, all tailored to the loads being moved and the number of picking operations required. Choose from manually assisted, electric or full automatic.
Our electric systems require no special power supply - just plug into a standard spare socket and they are ready ready to go. Our EasiGlide electric system uses 12 volts DC whilst the PowerGlide fully automatic mobile uses a safe 24 Volts DC which provides all of the power needs for the system. Battery back-up on both mobiles ensures the systems can be operated in the event of a mains failure.
All systems can be fitted with decorative end panels to complement the surrounding working environment.
How does mobile shelving work?
Shelving combines versatility and accessibility, with excellent utilisation of vertical space and floor area. However, static shelving does require the floor space for separate aisles to access all of the shelf positions.This is where mobile shelving is so effective in saving space, by eliminating the need for several access aisles. Because the shelving moves along floor tracks, the space for only one aisle is needed. When an item is required the particular shelving bay is identified and an adjacent aisle is created by moving the mobile shelving units apart.
Simple mobile solutions can be answered by using the ProGlide Modular system which offers a quick and easliy installed system - ideal for office or commercial applications. For larger or heavy duty applications we have a range of different bespoke solutions.
Mobile shelving is available with either hand operated mechanical operation, electric or automatic electronic controls.

Longspan Shelving
Longspan is the leading heavy-duty, clip together wide bay steel shelving system for the hand-loaded storage of heavy and large items. With a wide choice of frames, beam types, sizes and a choice of shelf materials, Longspan will take the strain from the heaviest of loads.Simple clip together assembly makes it easy to adjust. Beams fasten simply and securely onto uprights.
Custom-made single or two-tier installations can be built to suit most commercial, industrial and retail environments where long, unrestricted shelving bays are required.
Shelving materials can be supplied to meet specific requirements - choose from galvanised steel panels, chipboard or timber shelves. A full range of accessories is available.

Just Shelving
Simple, tap together, cost effective, adjustable, general purpose shelving with unrestricted access to all sides. Beams are simply tapped into the uprights to create a strong structure onto which chipboard shelves are located.Available in a choice of Standard and Heavy duties with a wide range of sizes, with either painted or galvatite finish. Painted Just shelving is available with a choice of upright colours.
The simple design of Just shelving is also ideal for Garment Hanging is retail stockrooms. Garment rails replace the shelf levels to create a simple framework, which can be easily adjusted to meet changing stock requirements.
