    Operations

    • Position the forks the correct distance apart to locate into fork pockets.
    • Drive forks fully into the fork pockets ensuring thumb screws are suitably retracted.
    • Tighten thumb screws on to forks ensuring that they are adequately tightened.
    • Lower the forks so that the scoop is above the finished floor level and drive towards the product.
    • Once the Scoop is adequately full, tilt back the FLT mast and move towards your tipping area.
    • When in position release the secondary lock mechanism on the rear of the scoop and pull the release handle downwards.
    • When empty lower the scoop to the ground and the scoop will self-close and lock into place.
    • Replace the secondary lock mechanism.
    • The scoop is now ready for use again.
    • TO OPERATE VIA AUTO-RELEASE follow steps 1, 5 as above and then: When in position release the secondary lock mechanism on the rear of the scoop
    • Position the scoop at the correct height with the actuator plate positioned over the yard skip side/Hopper (the actuator plate is located between the two side entry fork pockets).
    • Lower the scoop on to the side of the yard skip/hopper until the hook release mechanism is disengaged.
    • Once empty raise the scoop clear of the yard skip/hopper, pull away and lower safely to the ground and the scoop will self-close and lock into place.
    • Replace the secondary lock mechanism.
    • The scoop is now ready for use again.

      Maintenance

      • The Scoop should be inspected weekly for general condition with particular attention paid to: A, All weld points, B, Wear & distortion of fork pockets and thumb screws, C, Any damaged components, D, Lock & latches, E, Pivot points
      • All bolts must be checked for tightness.
      • The pivot bars, latches and locks must be kept greased.
      • The spring should be oiled.
      • Damage or failure must be reported and rectified immediately prior to re-use of scoop.
      • General surface rusting especially in the critical areas should be treated with proprietary inhibitors, primers and paint regularly.
      • This product is certified for six (6) months from the date of manufacture after which it is the customer, responsibility to have the product re-tested at an approved testing facility or inspected and logged in a register by a competent person as advised by the HSE.

          Health & Safety

          • The department manager or section where the attachment is to be used must ensure the operators are fully conversant with the attachment, its operation, and maintenance and that the thumb screws are fully tightened.
          • Ensure the truck and attachment can handle the intended load and contents.
          • Operators must keep clear of the mechanism whilst in operation.
          • Ensure the safety lock mechanism is engaged until the emptying operation is required.
          • Do not drive into the fork pockets without retracting the thumb screws.
          • Do not shock load the skip under any circumstance.
          • In the event of failure during operation, do not attempt rectification or re-operation while the scoop is off the ground. The attachment must be returned safely to floor level for inspection.
          • Never drive the product excessively, as this may injure the driver and/or damage the scoop and Fork Lift Truck.
          • If the product has become a semi-solid mass (wet sand) use the toothed leading edge to break down the product before attempting to fill the scoop.

        Delivery in 3-5 Working Days

        Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout.

        Standard delivery is free on all orders to Mainland UK above £100 excluding VAT.

        Next Day delivery is available on stock items only and, where available, charges for Next Day delivery are calculated at checkout. Orders for next day delivery need to be placed by 1:00pm unless otherwise stated.

        Delivery dates are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control.

        The company reserves the right to deliver Goods by installments, each installment being treated as a separate contract.

        Goods will be delivered at the point most convenient to our carrier, usually the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor. Further transfer or installation within the purchasers premises, particularly for large or heavy items, must be arranged prior to delivery and will be charged extra.

        Goods are delivered by courier and a signature is required, if the courier is unable to make delivery a card will be left and the goods returned to the depot. Redelivery will usually be attempted on the next working day or arrangements can be made to collect the goods from the delivery depot. It is your responsibility to advise of any special delivery requirements at the time of order.

        From time to time our shipping providers make an additional charge for delivery to some areas, for example Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in these cases we reserve the right to pass that additional cost on to our customer.  We will make contact with you to obtain further payment to cover additional shipping costs, if you do not wish to make the additional payment a full refund will be offered and your order will be cancelled.

        RETURN OF GOODS

        In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any product, please contact us without delay.

        Faulty Goods or Incorrect Item Received

        Should the goods you receive be faulty or if we have delivered the wrong product you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt (or the next working day), we guarantee to accept return of such goods without charge.

        Once we have received the goods at our premises a replacement will be dispatched to you.

        Unwanted Goods

        If you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us, in writing, within 7 working days of receipt.

        You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

        The goods must be returned in a completely resalable condition, in the original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories as supplied.  For furniture items that are suppied in flat pack form, we may not be able to accept return if the item has been assembled.

        It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods.  Goods will be inspected before a refund is made.  If the goods suffer damage or neglect whilst in your care a claim may be made.

        You must decide before ordering if the goods are suitable for your needs.

        We cannot accept return of goods that have been made to your particular specifications or manufactured to order as per below delivery status icons. If you are unsure please call 01302 300200. 

        For business customers returns may be subject to a handling/restocking charge not exceeding 25% of the net price of the goods.
